Calming Your Mind
It is a very exciting time for the therapy world, as new and innovative techniques are being introduced across the globe. Many of these breakthrough therapies have evolved from a deeper understanding of neuroscience. Our Lead Therapist, Suzanne Bond, uses the latest cutting edge therapies and is actively involved in researching some of the latest neuroscience-related therapies.
NEW Cutting-edge Therapies
Through Neuroscience we now understand how the brain functions, which has led to the creation of some amazing cutting-edge therapies. There is an ever-growing range of therapy techniques that can change our behaviour, thoughts, any self-limiting blocks, addictions, and more. Often, dramatic changes can occur within one single session.
Powerful Therapy Using Neuroscience
The main function of our brain is called “Neuroplasticity”. Put simply, this means our brains are changeable. By creating new “neural pathways”, we can change our habits, thoughts and routines.
Not all Neural Pathways are useful!
Neural pathways are conditioned habits, routines, and thoughts, which are created very early on in our lives. The longer we use these pathways, the more difficult it becomes to break them, which can lead to negative patterns and behaviours. As some neural pathways are unhelpful to our wellbeing, we look at ways of changing these pathways to create more positive patterns and behaviours.
How do I change my Neural Pathways?
By doing things differently and repeatedly, whilst avoiding the patterns of behaviour we no longer want. Our old pathways don’t die - they remain dormant. It can be very challenging to maintain the changes we desire on a permanent basis. Sometimes, old pathways can be triggered by association - be it a smell, noise, taste, touch, image or even a state of mind, such as boredom. Changing your neural pathways can be a very challenging process, but we will work with you to help change any negative patterns and behaviours.
If you would like to change any bad habits, patterns and behaviours, or you would like to overcome an issue or a trauma, we can help. Our Lead Therapist, Suzanne, offers a Consultation, either in Clinic or online, where she will assess which Therapy or Therapies will get you where you want to be, as fast & effectively as possible.
"I just finished my therapy sessions with Suzanne and I cannot thank her enough for the difference. I struggled with anxiety and an inability to have relationships with my friends, family and love relationships. After four sessions I feel a complete difference in myself and I finally know who I am as a person. Thank you Suzanne for everything you’ve done for me and helped me with "

"Thank you doesn't even begin to get close.
When the Children asked me to get help of some kind, I never believed of opening up to someone I didn't know and was worried they wouldn't be credible. When we first met, I thought you were a lovely person, but didn't think in my wildest dreams this sort of help was for me, then everything changed. I wanted to give up on life, but you were able to empty my crammed head and you stayed with me until I felt a little better. I will always remember how that felt.
As the days past I realised I could walk the dog without 'trying' to breathe and I could breathe normally again. Things fast got better each session. One of my Children said to his wife "Mums coming back, her eyes look different". They were so scared they were going to lose their Mum as well as well as their Father. It sounds so dramatic but you gave all of us a life back. Suzanne, we will never be able to repay you. With much love & affection x "
